Robert Legare Fogle

COLUMBIA - A memorial service to celebrate the life of Robert Legare “Bob” Fogle, 94, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Columbia. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Mr. Fogle died Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Born in North, he was a son of the late Robert Tillie Fogle and Jeanette McMichael Fogle. He was a graduate of Epworth Orphanage and the University of South Carolina with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. Mr. Fogle served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII as a flight engineer. He retired from Electrolux Vacuum Company after 55 years as a sales representative. Mr. Fogle was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Ann Beverly Fogle; son, R. Daniel Fogle of Aiken; daughter, Pamela Ann Watkins (Roger) of Walhalla; grandchildren, Tonya Collins of Hopkins, Brian Keith Collins (Janice) of Lansing, Mich., Arthur Fogle of Aiken, Alexander Fogle of Austin, Texas, Christopher Daniel Cantrell (Kristi) of Columbia, Geoffrey Fogle of Aiken, Brittney Marie Carr of Walhalla; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Cruise of Fredericksburg, Va.
