Monica Lynn Camp

COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Monica Lynn Camp, 68, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.

Mrs. Camp passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Born in Waco, Texas on April 3, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Col. Kenneth Blackmon Camp, USAF (Ret.) and Ann Lou Barrett Camp.

Monica worked as a pediatric nurse at Richland Memorial Hospital and also at Moncrief Army Hospital. She was a passionate caregiver to her parents and to all God’s creatures and belonged to many animal rescue organizations. She was also a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Surviving are several cousins and numerous friends that were like family.
