Michelle Lynne Jordan

COLUMBIA – Michelle Lynne Jordan, 32, of Columbia passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014. Born in Lakewood, CA, on August 27, 1981 she was a daughter of Michael and Laura Jordan of Blythewood. Michelle attended Florence High School and was of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted mother who cared deeply for her two sons. She was also a hard worker in her professional life, and was loved and well respected by her co-workers at RC McEntire Produce Company. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons; Demetrius Ellison and Byron Barber both of Columbia; a brother, Scott (Lisa) Dreckman of Springfield, MO; maternal grandmother, Patricia Dreckman of Van Buren, AR; paternal grandparents, William and Phyllis Jordan of Rialto, CA; special friend, Brad Yarborough of Columbia and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Shawn Jordan; maternal grandfather, Larry Dreckman; paternal grandmother, Pearl Jordan. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014, at 10:00 am at Gibson Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home Northeast Chapel.
