COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Lillian Robinson “Inez” Hughes, 95, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2016, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Mrs. Hughes died Saturday, February 20, 2016. Born in Abbeville County on February 21, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Jacob Robinson and Ada Phillips Robinson. She worked as a weaver in the textile industry for many years. She was a long time member of the Community Organization “We Are Olympia” and St. Luke’s Lutheran Church for most of her adult life. Surviving are her sister, Dora Cudd of Abbeville; grandchildren, Phil Haynes (Judy), Ashley Latzer (Richie); great grandchildren, Blake Haynes, Caleb Bentley and Kyle Bentley. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Brown Hughes; daughters, Ardelia Knox and Becky Haynes; and granddaughter, Donna Leigh Knox.
