Larry was born April 11, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Stephanie Bokor. In 1972, Larry moved to Columbia to establish his own CPA firm in Irmo. He was a lifelong Cubs and Bears fan and recently could be seen cheering on the USC Gamecock Women’s Basketball team. Larry enjoyed playing tennis, bird watching, and gardening but most importantly he was a loving father and husband.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his first wife, Kay Bokor. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Bokor; three children, Trevor Bokor of Spartanburg, SC, Laura Bokor Taylor (Michael) Annapolis, MD, Ainsley Bokor Palmisano (Todd) of Belchertown, MA; two grandchildren, Tyler and Connor Boko; and a brother, Kenneth Bokor of Charlotte, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA.
