Jeff was one of my best friends. We were roommates for a little while and had loads of fun, whether it was out on the Donzi, riding around in the little yellow pickup or hanging out at Docksides. I have memories of rooting for Dale Earnhardt together even through his winless streak. Jeff I hope your soul is at peace and I will always remember the good times from back in the day. By the way Catfish, I hope there is a lake there in heaven you and Jesus can hang out on. How cool would that be.

Jeff was nice to me when I didn't know a kind soul at Irmo HS.  He was so popular that he didn't have to reach out to me, but he did. THAT is something that's true and right. We will see each other again Jeff.

I am heart broken by the news of Jeff's passing! I met him about 7 years ago and he was a kind, thoughtful, gentleman who was very proud of his heritage and love for "Wells Marinia". The first time I invited him to my home, my cat went into labor and he held the couch off of the floor, over my body for hours, so I could help my cat, who was under the couch, have her kittens. We both were so WIGGED out for hours after that! I went to school with his sister Terri, and he made it very clear to all, how he adored her and would always protect her. What a lovely guy! I nicknamed Jeff "Blondie" in high school. He was always a kind person, and funny. His smile lit up a room! My earliest memory of Jeff? Hhhmm, he picked on me on the school bus! He would have me crying, Ha Ha Ha! So many times, my Mother would call Mr. Nivens, head over District 5 school buses, trying to get Jeff kicked off the bus! Needless to say, Mr. Nivens would just say, "Soon, you will not have to worry about any Wells' on the school bus"! I guess that was the start of Jeff's craziness! He had some great stories! Last story I heard was when Jeff & Jeff Byrd caught the bass in Lake Murray w/out any fishing pole! They told me that story up at Anglers South, where that bass is mounted today! That was the last time I saw Jeff, just a few months ago. Jeff, you will be so missed! RIP dear man!
