Mr. James B. Nunn Sr.

Graveside services and a celebration of life will be held for James B. Nunn Sr. on Monday, May 31, 2010 at Noon in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at Greenlawn Funeral Home.

J.B. was born May 6, 1913 in Aiken County, South Carolina to James B. and Bessie Nunn. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Sis Byars Nunn. He was founder and owner of Columbia Crawler Corporation in 1965 and remained as President until his retirement in 1987.

He is survived by his daughter Mary Ann Haselden; his son James B. “Sonny” Nunn, Jr. and his wife Linda; three grandchildren, Holmes P. “Trace” Haselden, III, Harold B. “Hal” Haselden and James B. “Jay” Nunn, III and his wife Leigh; 2 great-grandchildren, James B. Nunn, IV and Ford P. Nunn. He is also survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Goldman of Aiken, SC and Margie Hatcher of West Columbia, SC.
