LEXINGTON – On the evening of May 15, 2019, Evan Elijah Bowersox was unexpectedly taken to be with the Lord and his family in Heaven. Evan was born in Anderson, SC, in 1995. He loved anything on wheels and was a great skateboarder and bike rider. He was known for his great sense of humor and giving heart. He loved to have fun and was a great friend.
Evan is survived by his mother, Amy; father, Max; stepfather, John; sisters, Cassidy and Mia; step-siblings, Alyssa, AJ and Aaron; paternal grandparents, Rodney and Sandra; maternal grandparents, Donna and Danny and step-grandfather, Paul and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019, at the Palmetto Church of Christ, 7000 Nursery Rd., Columbia, SC 29212. A burial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2019, at Greenlawn Serenity Gardens, north end of Windwan Dr., Columbia, SC.
