Elise Brandenburg Campbell

COLUMBIA - Elise Brandenburg Campbell, 85, passed away October 8, 2017. Born on February 12, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA., she was the daughter of the late John Martin Brandenburg, Sr. and Elizabeth Moody Brandenburg. Elise was preceded in death by her two sons, William Youmans Edens, Jr. and James Michael Edens. She is survived by her two brothers, John Martin Brandenburg, Jr. of Columbia and Charles Moody Brandenburg of Hendersonville, N.C.; two sons, John Martin Edens (Marie) of Rock Hill and David James Campbell (Richelle) of Columbia; two daughters, Susan Edens Gaston (Frank) of Hilton Head and Melissa Edens Griffin (Darrin) of Lexington; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 11:00 until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, 3926 Devine Street, Columbia, SC 29205. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 7100 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
