David Russell Lancaster

Russell was a graduate of Blythewood High School. He was a retired mechanic who worked for several years with Fairfield Electric Co-op and Tractor Mart. Russell was a member of Fair Lawn United Methodist Church. Russell was a dedicated family man, and in his spare time, he enjoyed mechanics, hunting, fishing, and collecting baseball cards. He was also a long time member of the American Poolplayers Association.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa Wright Lancaster; daughters, Pamela L. Garnica and Lucinda E. Lancaster; son, David R. Lancaster, Jr.; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his granddaughter, Christian D. Gorman.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Covenant Community Fellowship Church, 1111 Mason Rd. Columbia, SC 29203. The internment will follow in Memorial Gardens of Columbia. The family will receive friends Friday, December 16, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at Covenant Community Fellowship Church.
