Charlotte Roberta Lee, age 81, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Born to Gladys and Porter Lee, Roberta grew up in Columbia, S.C. and was graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Master’s degree in Library Science.
In 1970, Roberta entered the Monastery of Saint Clare and continued as a member until 1975, after which she became an associate of that Poor Clare community. Roberta continued her life of service with a career at the Richland County Public Library. A parishioner of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Roberta was a member of the Ladies Prayer Group for over twenty years.
She is survived by her brother, Philip Lee, as well as by many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Columbia, S.C. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
