Catherine Graham Woods

Born May 7, 1953, Catherine was the daughter of the late Col. Laurens Ragsdale Graham, USAR (Ret.) and Caroline Elizabeth Bradham Graham. Catherine graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BS degree in Computer Science magna cum laude. She continued studies in the MBA program at USC.

She worked for 10 years at SCE&G (Dominion) as a computer programmer and computer analyst. Catherine then joined Woods Research, Inc., a market research company started by her husband, James M. Woods, where she worked until retirement. Catherine enjoyed traveling in the U.S., Europe, Great Britain, Mexico, and Panama.

Surviving are her husband, James McFadden Woods; her brother, Dr. John Randolph Graham (Jan); son, Charles Jennings Woods (Kimberley); and daughter, Elizabeth Carroll Woods. Other surviving relatives include William Woods (Raynell), Richard Woods (Susan), Martha Woods, Gus Woods (Alice Stevens), Irvin Woods (Nancy) and Trisha Woods, Bryan Randolph Graham (Katelyne) Caroline Louise Graham, Bailey Woods, Michael Woods, Baynard Woods, Christopher Woods, and Sarah Woods. Cathy adored her grandchildren, Roth Christopher Woods, son of Elizabeth Carroll Woods, and Harvie Gertrude Woods, daughter of Charles Jennings Woods and Kimberley Finney Woods.

Visitation will be from 4 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
