Beverly Young Lanham

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Beverly Young Lanham, 78, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2021 at Lebanon United Methodist Church, with burial in the churchyard. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. one hour prior to the service at the church.

Ms. Lanham died Wednesday, June 2, 2021. Born in Richland County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Beverly Young and Daisey Mathis Young. She was a graduate of Lower Richland High School Class of 1961 and Palmer Business College. Beverly was an active member of Eastern Star since June 1996 and Lebanon United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her children, James Christie “Chris” Lanham III (Jackie), J. Thomas Lanham (Stacy), Lori Lanham (Willie), and Leigh Ann Yelton; grandchildren, James Christie “Jamie” Lanham IV (Bailey), Tyler Joseph Lanham, Sydney Elise Lanham, Regan Elise Yelton, and Lauren Ann Yelton; sister, Vivian Wiley (Bill); and her four-legged companion, Molly.
