Adam Edward Taylor

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Adam Edward Taylor, 34, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the funeral home.

Adam died Thursday, April 14, 2022. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of Kathleen Ann Geraty and the late Dr. Clarence Edward Taylor, Jr. He was a graduate of Dreher High School and the College of Charleston. Adam loved music, playing pool, and cooking out. When you were with Adam, you were always guaranteed a great steak and a messy kitchen. He would do anything for a friend.

Surviving are his mother, Kathleen Geraty of Columbia, SC; sister, Dr. Tracy Smith (Frank) of Charleston, SC; nieces, Taylor Smith and Caroline Smith; aunts, Elaine Brantley (Joe) of Columbia, SC, Elizabeth Cramer of Irmo, SC, Nancy Loren (Clinton), Sue DeLuca (Gregg), and Ann Marie Geraty, all of New York; numerous cousins; and a friend of the family who is considered a brother, David Jones (Abby) of Columbia, SC.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his uncles, Daniel and Richard Geraty and uncle-in-law, Robert Cramer.
