Funeral Service will be 2:30pm, Monday, March 12, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home 1217 Business Loop 70 West Columbia, with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7pm, Sunday at the Funeral Home.
Lorene Sieck was born September 16, 1924 in Fayette, MO to May Karl and Mae Jackson Hackley. She was a very talented woman that worked several jobs over her lifetime. She was an elevator operator while in Florida, and built Training Airplanes during WWII. She sold for Mary Kay Cosmetics, and was sales rep for KWIX/KRES radio in Moberly for many years. She was a fantastic cook, famous for her mashed potatoes. She enjoyed a good adventure and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen (Ed) Powell of Moberly and Marie Hulett (Marcia Muskrat) of Long Beach, CA; six sons, Delmar (Brenda) Hulett of Moberly, a son-in-law, Jim Whiting of Moberly, Michael (Debora) Hulett of Cairo, Kevin (Gail) Hulett of Millersbug, MO, Eric (Melinda) Hulett of Firestone, CO, Kristopher (Lisa) Hulett of Twin Falls, ID, and Loren Hulett and Kathy Bailey of Columbia; 24 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren, and a large and loving extended family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Delmar Hulett; second husband, Gerald Sieck; daughter, Janis Whiting; grandson, Theo fox; granddaughter, Leanne Powell; and great-great granddaughter, Elizabeth Aarends.
