A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Larry Curry will officiate the service.
Betty was born on November 17, 1930, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Floy and Jessie (Pennell) Osborn. She graduated from high school in Eldon and was united in marriage to Floyd Andrews on November 23, 1952, in Camdenton. Together, they raised two sons, Reed and Bryan.
Betty had a deep appreciation for nature, often enjoying walks on her family’s property and admiring the trees and landscapes that surrounded her. She was a warm, happy, and good-natured person, whose gentle spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Bryan Andrews; her sister, Freda Bailey; and her dear friends, Gail James and Rochelle Sherman. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd Andrews; her son, Reed Andrews; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Wagner.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org, in honor of Betty.
Betty’s kindness and love for her family and friends will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
