Barbara Sontag

Barbara A. Sontag of Barnett, MO, passed away September 23, 2022. She was born in Boone County, MO on October 4, 1935 and was a graduate of New Franklin High School. She married Charles W. (Bill) Sontag on May 19, 1956. Barbara was a homemaker, but she was also a cook for Jefferson City Junior High School. She held much love for her family and had a passion for cooking.

She is survived by son, Jim (Susan) Sontag; brothers, Warren and Albert Taylor; sisters, Inez Hickam and Martha Traxler; and granddaughter, Kelsey (David) Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary (Nowlin) Taylor; sister, Dorothy Louise; brother, Charles Taylor Jr.; husband, Charles W. (Bill) Sontag; and son, William Randall Sontag.
