It is with profound sadness that the family of Lucille Linda Berry (nee Beck), (84), announce her passing on 04/17/2024. Lucille was surrounded by her loving family in her final days. Originally from South Philadelphia, PA, Lucille and her family moved to Glenolden, PA and later resided in Columbia, MD, for the remaining years of her life.
Lucille loved being a mother to her five children. This essentially was what she was most passionate about in life. Along with her partner in crime Frank, was always the first on any dance floor. Lucille was quite the prankster and loved going to her ceramics club as well as bingo. Lucille was always up for a fun road trip to go visit one of her children. When once asked if she could have done anything else with her life she answered “no, I have done exactly what I wanted”. Her family was her life!
Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Francis X. Berry, her parents Bertram and Lucy (Viola) Beck, and two brothers, Albert and Richard Beck. She is survived by her five children: Karen (Gary) Pancavage, Thomas Sr. (Patricia) Berry, Francis (James Chan) Berry, Stephen Berry and Lisa (Edward) Callaway.
Lucille was the proud Grandmother of Ryan and Suzann Pancavage; Diana (Timothy) George and their three children Max, Alex and Stassi, Thomas Jr. (Katelyn) Berry and their daughter Ariana; Cory (Leondra) Beach and their children Avery and Carson, Dexter Beach and his five children, Darylann (Nicole) Wheeler and their daughter Lucianna; and Ashley (Shawn) Wilson and their children Ella and Kaylee.
