Ruth Jean Glover was born May 29, 1948 in Sprinhill, Louisiana to Mr. Willie Thomas and Elizbetha (Elrivas) Thomas who preceded her in death in Emerson, Arkansas. Ruth (Jean) graduated Brown High School in Spring Hill, Louisiana.
Ruth became a secretary and also worked at Ammunition Plant, in Minden Louisiana. She also worked at Walmart for a number of years before moving to California in 1987. She live in Los Angles for a short period before moving to San Bernardino, California. Ruth opened a Board and Care named Unique Ladies Home that ran for over 35 years. Ruth was a pillar in the community. She received several awards throughout the years to honor the work she has done.
Ruth loved giving birthday parties, taking Vegas trips, going to Palm Spring resort for Christmas, and fun fun fun with family. Ruth love to spend money on clothes and purses. She love to share with anyone who was in need. She love to spend Holidays with family. Some of her favorite food were chicken stuffing (dressing), greens (mix), hot water corn bread, ribs, German chocolate cake, and carrot cake. She love to listen to her blues, gospel, and music of all kinds.
Ruth leaves behind two daughters Dinique, Shinique, one grandchild Mikele Glover, two sisters Bobbie Bursey, Willie Ruth Dixon, one brother Robert ED Thomas and a host of relatives, extended family and friends.
