“Yello”
David Valenzuela Garcia “Yello” passed away peacefully on June 30, 2021, at the age of 78. He is survived by his lovely wife, Amparo Salas Garcia of 53 years. David was a proud father to nine loving children; Lauriano Sanchez, Emma Estrada, Lupe Salazar, Esperanza Garcia, Maria Garcia, Socorro Garcia, Luis Garcia, Christina Liera, and Amparo Garcia. He was a loving grandfather to sixteen grandchildren; Michael Estrada, Jacqueline Luger, Mario Estrada, Aaron Salazar, Rosalind Sanchez, Natalie Maloney, Melissa Sanchez, Kristy Diaz, Yvette Robles, Alyssa Diaz, Larry Sanchez, David Diaz, Isaac Liera, Catarina Liera, Amanda Garcia, Robert Covarrubias and five great-grandchildren; Charlee Manley, Jackson Salazar, Landon Salazar, Juliet Zamarripa, William Luger and two great-grandchildren that will be born later this year. He has joined four siblings in heaven; Adolfita Garcia, Socorro Garcia, Jose Garcia, Luis Garcia and Trinidad Garcia and is survived by five siblings; Armando Garcia, George Garcia, Lupe Villalobos, Martha De Leon, and Salvador Garcia.
David’s pride and joy was his family. He lived to protect and provide for his family. He was known for his generous heart, strong work ethic as well as his strong personality. He was a very caring man that helped many friends, family, and complete strangers throughout his lifetime. He was also known for his silly sense of humor and the habit of changing the names of anyone or anything. He loved to make people laugh.
David is now resting in heaven with our Lord. He left such an imprint in the hearts of many, especially his family and he will be dearly missed.
