Bobby Eugene Bruns, 86 years old of Yucaipa, California, passed away at Redlands Community Hospital on September 11, 2013. He was born on August 26, 1927, at Cerro Gordo, Illinois, to William and Goldie Bruns. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, step-son, Victor Lee Petty, step-daughter, Judith Diane Davis and grandsons, Mathew Jason Petty and Steven Davis. Bobby worked for General Electric for over 40 years and was their Managing Director for 13 years. He was and avid camper and extensive traveler.
He was a member of Church on the Hill in Redlands, California. Bobby was involved in various church ministries, serving as Director of Singers, Men's Bible Studies and Nursing Home Ministry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, 10 to 11 am, Funeral Service, 11 am, both at Montecito Cypress Chapel, 24145 Barton Rd., Loma Linda, California, followed by military burial at Montecito Memorial Park.
