Annette Hernandez was born in Lincoln Nebraska on 3/13/1960 to Tony and Lucia Juarez, she graduated from La Puente high school. On 08/12/1978 she married Richard Hernandez, her two sons are Richard and James Hernandez. A gift of a mother is one of the greatest gifts we can receive in life and we are grateful for the time we had with her. She won her battle to cancer on Sunday 4/30/2017, we say she won because she fought long and hard and never complained or gave up. She fought honorably and never once let it get in the way of her giving 100 percent to her family. She touched so many lives along the way with her kind heart and motherly love. I don't know whether to be sad or happy. I'm sad because I've lost the best mother I could ever ask for, the woman who had my back no matter how many wrong things I did in my life, the woman who loved me unconditionally for who I was, I'm sad my father will no longer have his best friend by his side to share memories and fun times with. I'm sad we will never have my mother to hold in our arms and look into her eyes and tell her we love her, I'm sad Ariel will not get to spend countless hours getting to know her and have her at her high school graduation or wedding. But I'm also so very grateful that she had the time she did with her, to see them color together and hold each other and share countless loving moments, I'm also so grateful and happy to have had the honor and chance to be my mothers son. I'm happy she will no longer be in pain or discomfort, I'm happy she showed us how to be strong and fight, she paved the road for our family and now we will have to continue on this journey without her here with us. She will be watching over us for eternity. It's impossible to explain how many wonderful things a person has done in their life in a single page but it is very easy to explain how much we love you. We love you to infinity and beyond.
