Dear Huston Family,
We are so sorry for your loss.  We are and will keep praying for you.  Trent was such a blessing.  The way you opened your hearts and home to Brandon and Dayn is very special to us and says a lot about Trent and your family - Thank you.  It was an honor to be at his memorial service and to hear about how he loved life and blessed so many.  What a legacy of love he leaves behind - thank you for sharing him with us. You were the coolest guy to do work for or with! Peterson afb really isnt the coolest place to work an you always had a joke or just positive vibes to make  the day  better! Just a great guy in general! Dont know any one who could say a bad thing about Trent! You will be missed my friend, going to Peterson just wont be the same Man! Trent will be missed very much. My depest sympathy to all the family, he is too young to be gone so soon. I went to high school with Trent, he was always very sweet and the more "sensible" person we all hung out with! He made you laugh when you had a bad day or at least help you get through it.  I'm so sorry for your loss.

Our family got to know Trent and his family through my son, Dylan. Dylan and Travis played on the same sports teams in high school. Our families sat together in the bleachers, cheering our kids on.  During wrestling season, Dylan made it to state one year and the Hustons made him a t-shirt and drove all the way to Denver to cheer him on. It meant so much to all of us, but especially to Dylan. Because of that support and friendship, after high school, Dylan loved going to the wrestling room to wrestle while Trent coached. It’s all because Trent was the coach and he was such a positive influence in Dylan’s life.  I will always be grateful for his kindness and encouragement towards my son. Our deepest condolences to the Huston family for the loss of a wonderful man.

Dear Huston family, 
   My brother, Jay Fischer and I would like to send our sympathies to the entire Huston family.  We both became acquainted with Trent when he was first-born and were able to see him throughout the years along with Theresa  and their large family.  Along with his dad, he helped to save my brother's life in 2017 and for that we will always be eternally grateful. Trent and his family didn't deserve this and we are both so terribly sorry.

Some losses just can never be understood.  Teresa and her family losing Trent is one of those times. Trent's deep voice was unmistakable when he called the office to speak with Teresa. Through ups and downs, they were always a team and family was their first priority.  I am heartbroken for them. 

I met Trent and his family about 15 years ago he always had a great attitude and personality I was privileged to work with him and be part of his life I knew when I met Trent he would have my back and I would have his we become brothers we shared a lot of conversations and laughed a lot he loved to laugh and make u laugh I wish I would have spent more time with his family I will truly miss you but just know u made me a better person and thank u for that brother thank u for letting me be part of your family R.I.P.

I knew Trent through work. He was a contractor on Peterson AFB and would come to the visitor center a lot back in 2013. We got on a first name basis with each other and when I went back to the gate and on patrol I’d still see him from time to time. He would always make sure the Airmen had coffee or water if they needed it and loved to chat with us about our day and the shift we were on. You’ll be missed greatly Trent. All of Peterson has a dark atmosphere now that you’re gone. 

We all strive to be like Trent Huston.  I met Trent in 2008 at a Rosary for one of our students as I'm a teacher and coach at Ellicott HS.  I spoke at the Rosary and did my best.  Got pretty misty I have to admit.  When I was finished with my tribute to Ramona, one of the first to greet me was Trent. I heard his deep voice as he stuck his hand out: He said:  "I'm Trent and thank you for your wonderful words." I thought to myself this handshake  is gonna hurt.  Sure enough he squeezed the the heck out of my as if he were saying: Welcome to Ellicott my friend.  I love Trent and the entire Huston family.  They make our district who we are:  People who are in it for the kids.  

I teach CPR/First Aid to the coaches each year at Ellicott.  One year Trent was in a bind and needed to get certified.  I covered the required topics from the American Red Cross but it was the quickest class I have ever given.  Trent knew his stuff.  In fact he could have taught me the class.  Trent was always a true pro.

Our kids at Ellicott grew up with Trent coaching them.  He loved to make a positive difference in the lives of our kids.  I'm gonna miss this man!  He is a man who we all strive to be like but fall a little short.

Love the Huston's!  P. S. I even have a classroom rule named after Ashley Huston.  She can explain if you ask her.

My family and I met trent a few years ago when he coached my sons foot ball team. He was a GREAT COACH!!!!🤗🤗. He had such a passion for the kids and love of football. He will forever missed by our family . Sending lots of prayer for his dear family

I met Trent back in high school at Lincoln. He was the guy in the back row with the deep bass singing voice that could always make you laugh. Later, you and I ran into each other at a wedding of a family member that we both married into, small world. Trent, you brought so much love and laughter to everyone. You will be deeply missed by all but I know Teresa and the kids will always know how much you love and care for them. You are now their guarding angel from above. With much respect Jill 

I married into the Huston family 7 almost 8 years ago to the eldest son Charles. We have Bryce and Lora the grandbabies. The family and I has never truely seen eye to eye as I was raised in a completely different envirnoment but I can say that his presence always brought a smile to my kids face. After spending a night with Trent it was always nonstop talk about grandpa and how he was awesome and the things they did together. I wish they got to spend more time together. Unfortunately we never got to tell him the fourth grandbaby was on the way but Trents memory will never be forgotten. 
Ride or die man. May you be at peace. 

You always knew went Trent was around if you didn’t see that shining head and broad smile you heard this deep bass of a voice. Trent you will be missed at Peterson AFB. I always knew we were in good hands if Trent was in charge of a project you always gave me 100% service satisfaction and if there were any issues you always took care of them. I’ll miss seeing you around it’s been a great working relationship but an even greater friendship RIP my friend, Mr.A
