Teresa was born to Ross W. and Sally E. Tyson on March 1st, 1954 in Toombs County Georgia. From the time she was small, Teresa enjoyed spending her days outdoors, basking in the sun as much as humanly possible. Teresa worked many different jobs throughout her lifetime, though the work she loved and carried out most involved caring for children and seniors.
Teresa was born into a large southern family and is preceded in death by her father Ross Tyson, mother Sally Tyson, brothers Roger and Michael Tyson, and sisters Valda Welsh, Wynona Bishop, and Dedra Tyson.
Teresa is survived by her daughter Tracy L. Iorio, her grandson Zachery L. Holcombe, her granddaughter Baylee R. Hanson, her brothers Vaughn and Gene Tyson, her sister Tammy Hostetler, as well as by her many nieces and nephews which she loved and adored.
Teresa carried herself through life with grace, a witty humor, and with the most genuine and contagious smile. Never did she let negativity or challenges change her or her loving ways. To know her was to love her, as she so generously loved all that she knew. Her love for God gave her faith and comfort regardless of circumstance and was the foundation of her beautiful outlook on life.
If greatness is measured by kindness, love and compassion for all, then Teresa is truly one of the greatest women one could ever be so blessed to know.
