Happy Mothers Day Today Mom...Which You were here to tell you in person. Sure do miss you! Many times last couple of months wanted to pick up the phone to talk to you, sure isn't the same! My poor dad, we all hold on to him cause he is all that's left! He will be with you soon, don't even want to think of that emptiness....We all express our missing you in different ways, some to your grave site, others with prayer, me just writing my thoughts. I miss you all the time and today is no different. I smile and cry just thinking about you. I see so much of you in all of us. Your sense of humor, your quick wit, your keen sharpness to detail. Just to hear you laugh made me so happy. You use to tell me how silly I was and that still makes me smile. I know your rejoicing with Jesus and that gives me comfort, but I still miss and love you so much it hurts to not have you here.

A rose is an unmistakable expression of love. Our Grandmother certainly lived up to her name.

We were so sad to hear of Rose's passing.  She was a wonderful and kind neighbor we shall miss her waves across the street to us when she was able to be on the porch.  She was blessed to have such a wonderful family and husband.  May God comfort the family in the days ahead.

God thank you for the most amazing grandmother!! Her love for others will always be in my memory. Her constant hugs and delicious food will be missed but never forgotten. RIP sweet Rose.  I only knew you for a short time at the home, but we became close when you and I would chat.  You had the best attitude.  My heart and sincere condolences goes out to the entire Vigil family.  God Bless you all.

So, now Tia, slumber, slumber in the arms of Jesus. Thank you Heavenly Father for the gift of my precious Aunt Rose.  Because of her faithfulness to your commandment to love the Lord your GOD with all your heart, soul and mind and to love your neighbor as yourself she was able to bless MANY lives during her 94 years.  (Matthew 22:37-39 Mark 12:30). May her love and life be an example to all of us still here on earth till we are called to our heavenly home.   

I will cherish fond memories of my Aunt Rose and remember that beautiful smile.

My Grandma provided a love that had an overflow that you can feel instantly.  She was so very accepting of others and embraced them as if they were her own children.  Although a void is left within us with her absence, she still resonates in our hearts and spirits with the love and compassion she bestowed on all of us.  As we mourn her passing in our own way, may we always celebrate her life and the loving legacy Grandma Rose left behind.  Love you always, Grandma!

I've known Rose and Papo Ernie since 1st grade, I'm now 32. She was the grandma of the block. Very sweet and treated me like I was her blood. Always made sure she made you feel comfortable. At anytime I could go 2 houses up get a glass of water or a bite while papo ernie would adjust my bike seat. My point is I loved her and will miss her. She was a beautiful person inside and out. And her love can be seen through her family and those like myself who had the honor of knowing Grandma Rose. I love you and will miss you but never will I forget you, thank you again for the wonderful memories!

How PERFECT Gods timing is!  On the 17th day of this New Year, on the 17th page of Moms personal planning guide for her funeral arrangement, Mom wanted all to hear her song she picked "O God Accept My Heart This Day"...was granted!  O God my heart is heavy.  Forgive me of my selfishness for wanting my Mom alive forever.  As I look back when I told you I Love You Momasita, now, it just wasn't enough!  It wasn't enough of what you deserve from me.  My deepest regret Mom was not telling you how much you mean to me and to thank you Mom for all that you have done for me and for being there for me.  I Love You Momasita!  I Love You, I Love You, I Love You!  Can't wait to see your smilely face, and tight hugs again.

My Grandmother was the strongest, most beautiful, kind soul and she always made us feel special. She always had a hug and kiss, demanded we stay for dinner, and made sure we had room for dessert. My fondest memories are of watching her make tortillas, receiving two quilts made by her hands, and going to her freezer for special treats like chile, corn, or fish. She is my hero. I want to emulate her, and bring her joy. I want her to nod with approval as she watches over me. Grandma, I wanted you around forever. I know that is not possible, but you are everything to me. I Love You! Besas! Your granddaughter, Audrey and with love from Gregory, Zaria and Myah who will never forget you and always treasure the time we had with you!
