Patrick was born Oct 13, 1958 in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. His early years were spent moving around with his father Bill, a distinguished Army veteran, until finally settling down in DeRidder, Louisiana. Following his High School graduation in 1976, Patrick enlisted in the US Air Force where he worked in computer repair for 10 years. Patrick was married to his wife Dianne (Daly) Lynch in 1979 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. Patrick and Dianne had been married for 42 years at the time of his passing. Following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Patrick moved with his family to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he began his 35 year career as a DoD contractor. Patrick supported the military in many capacities throughout his life, to include computer maintenance, system design, project management, and cyber security. He was also an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he dedicated countless hours working with the church’s youth as a cub scout master and Sunday School teacher. He will always be remembered for his love and ability to teach others the gospel. Patrick enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, traveling, bowling, music, movies, and carpentry.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Dianne Lynch, 3 children, Alan Lynch (Courtney Lynch spouse), Loren Lynch, Whitney Jones (Robert Jones spouse), 12 grandchildren (the dirty dozen), Kylene Lynch, Tanner Lynch, Camryn Lynch, Sydney Jones, Parker Lynch, Erin Jones, Anya Jones, Audrey Lynch, Levi Jones, Amelia "Mia" Lynch, Miles Lynch, Jacob Lynch, 8 siblings, Michael Lynch, Jackie Lynch, James Lynch, Gerald Lynch, Roni Lynch, Kelli Froust, Shawn Greenough, Joseph Greenough, Father in-law, Donald Daly, and mother in-law, Patricia Daly. He was preceded in death by his son, Erick Lynch, mother, Dorothy Greenough, and father, Bill Lynch.
Patrick will be interred at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on June 10th. A private family ceremony will be held on location to honor him. Those wishing to pay their respects to his family and celebrate Patrick’s life with us may come to pavilion 4 at Fox Run Regional Park on June 10th between the hours of 2 and 4 pm.
