On the beautiful day of Thursday January 19, 1951, Patricia Ann (Conner) Holland was born to Clifton Jean Conner and Alice Alena (Paxson) Conner. She was the 5th of 6 children to the couple in Coos Bay, Oregon.
Patricia A Holland passed away Tuesday November 8, 2022, at the age of 71. She was preceded in death first by her father Clifton Jean Conner in March of 1969 at the age of 58. Her father was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, and all-around family man. Her mother Alice Alena Conner passed in March of 2003 at the age of 85. Her mother was a lover of homemaking and books. This is where Patricia got her love of books. Then comes the siblings, Alice M (Conner) Chapman in August 2001 at age 54. Betty was the prankster. Norval Jean Conner in July of 2018 at age 74. Jean was a Navy man. Her husband of nearly 32 years Ronnie Dale Holland in April of 2012 at age 58. Ron was a grocer for 20 years.
Patricia leaves behind siblings Nelson Lee Conner, born June 1945, living in Manteca, CA with his wife Janet. Patrick Neil Conner, born june 1953, living in Mount Ida, AR with his wife Ann and family. Niece Cristie Jack-Oden born December 1963, living in Colorado Springs, CO. And 21 nieces and nephews, 37 great nieces and nephews.
Activities that Patricia and her siblings did during their childhood days was being outside, reading a book, or playing card games like Pinochle and Canasta. There was usually no money to buy gifts, so gifts were made by hand. Patricia and her siblings grew up in the towns of Lakeview, Ashland, Coos Bay/North Bend and Williams, Oregon. They moved to Coeur D' Alene, Idaho in 1967. Patricia graduated high school in Coeur D' Alene, ID in May 1969. She went to Beauty College from 1970-71'. Still, up until death, used a similar hairstyle that she learned 1971. She went to accounting school and achieved an associate degree near Spokane, WA. She met her husband Ron in Dallas, TX in 1980, and they married November 17 of the same year. They had no children, but had many pets they claimed as children through the years. Patricia was baptized as a Christian in 1969 and rededicated her love for God and Jesus with her husband Ron in November 2005. Patricia belonged to a group called T.O.P.S (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) for many years. She belonged to the Flintridge Chapter in Colorado Springs for the last 10 years.
Patricia was cremated so that her ashes can be spread where her husband Ron was spread on Camelback Mountain outside of Phoenix, AZ. Her ashes will be spread by her youngest brother Neil Conner.
