Michael A Brennan passed away on January 22, 2016 at the age of 53. He passed away at Penrose Hospital. He was a Resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Michael was born in Chester, PA on January 19, 1963 to James T Brennan and Audrey Keiler Brennan. He is survived by is wife of 33 years, Nancy Young Brennan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, his four daugthers, four son in laws and seven grandchildren. Michelle and Mike Vohlken Makayla 7 Makenzie 2 of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Amanda and Aaron Krening Liam 2, Taila 5 months of Erie, Colorado. Heather and John David Jay Audrey 4, John Lloyd 2 of North, South Carolina. Kim and Chadd Manor Jenelle 17 Months of Ashway Rhode Island. Michael was the youngest of 8 brothers and sisters; Joseph, Jim, Janice, John, Ruth Ann, Roy, and Nancy.
Michael graduated from Mcconnellsburg High school in 1980. After he graduated he joined the Air Force as a Security Forces Specialist. After 20 years of service, Michael retired at the rank of Technical Sergeant. Following retirement Michael served as a police officer with Palmer Lake Police Department, Green Mountain Falls Police Department, and the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
Some of Michaels favorite things were playing with his grand children, traveling to Ireland with his wife, taking pictures, building model planes, playing chess, shooting his many guns, knives, puzzles, the Denver Broncos, cracking jokes, and anything law enforecement.
Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He served his country and made his communities better. He was a great man, he was loved by all who knew him, and he will be sorely missed.
