Mary Lou Berg

Mary Lou Berg, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2015 in in Colorado Springs, CO. She was a resident of Mt. St. Francis Nursing Center. She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 10, 1928 and was the only child of Dorothy and Oscar Strom.

Mary Lou married Charles L Berg Jr on February 27, 1946 in Las Vegas and graduated from Las Vegas High School in June of 1946. They then moved to Denver, Colorado where she went to work for the Federal Center and helped her husband finish his degree. After her husband went to work as a teacher in the Denver Public Schools, they began their family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles and one grandson. She is survived by her three children, Bill (Karen), Cheryl (James) and Ron, 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10:15 a.m., Staging Area "C," Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Western Division, National Heart Association, Dumb Friends League of Denver, or charity of your choice.
