Ken leaves behind his life companion, Tomie Pistro, three sons: Jeffrey, Kennith (Katy) and Kevin (Kerri); four grandchildren: Sophia, Kennith, Alexander and Kooper, who were the light of his life. He had two brothers and two sisters.
Ken served his country with the U.S. Army with a tour in Europe, 2 tours to Vietnam and 2 assignments to Ft. Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ken also served his community with 23 years of law enforcement with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, reaching the rank of Division Commander, upon his retirement.
Ken was an accomplished oil painter, enjoyed golf, fishing, traveling, and people.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ken’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
