Jule C. Harper, 84, of Falcon, passed away on March 4, 2011 in Colorado Springs. Jule was born on October 4, 1926 in Wrens, Georgia to the late John and Jule (Brown) Callahan. Jule graduated Wesleyan University in Macon, Georgia in 1947 with a degree in music. She was the director of the preschool on Fort Carson for five years and owned the dress shop, “Harper’s Bazaar” for seven years. In her spare time she enjoyed fashion merchandising, cooking and traveling.
Jule is survived by her beloved husband, Merrill and son, John. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Harper and sister, Kathleen Rhodes.
