Joseph "Joey" Douglas Adams

Joey was born in Castle Rock, Colorado on October 20th, 1946 to parents Ezra and Dorothy Adams.

Joey loved car rides, hats, his chair, and juggling a ball, smelling good and wearing nice clothes! He had a very infectious laugh and loved to eat hot dogs. Joey was a gentle giant and also loved spending time with his housemates, Courtney and Juanita, and his host home provider, Carla. Joey lived in his host home for 23 years. Joey also attended Journey’s Day Program for many years. Joey traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana and Palm Bay, Florida with his host home provider and housemates several times on family vacations! Joey was a gentle soul that smiled a lot when you called his name! We will miss him tremendously!

A Remembrance Gathering for Joey will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Chapel of Memories, 829 South Hancock, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
