John is survived by his children, John Michael Rossello of Colorado Springs, Robert Rossello of Oakland, California, and Jennifer Andrews of Seattle, Washington, 5 grandchildren, and his sister Dolores Rossello of Hohenwald, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his father Samuel Rossello, his mother Amelia Rossello, and his sister Cheryl Wood, all of Florida.
John was born on February 15, 1943 in Orange, New Jersey. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in drama, and pursued a Masters’ degree at the University of California, Davis.
He worked at various newspapers in California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and North Carolina during his career.
At John’s request, there will be no services. Donations may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
