He was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 10, 1950. John W. Lynch graduated from Central High School and attended Lockyear Business College, both in Evansville, Indiana. He was married to Nan Sun “Hong” on March 25, 1974.
John had a career in the United States Army and later in the insurance industry with Lynch and Associates. He was a member of several organizations including: the Moose Lodge, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and the National Council on Aging. John had a passion for old cars, movies and books.
He is survived by a son, David J. Lynch, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters, Cindy Maes, and Kimberly Bruce, both of Evansville, Indiana; brothers, Wilbur Lynch, of Jacksonville, Florida and Roger W. Lynch, of Newburgh, Indiana.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., July 27, 2018, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
