Irving M. Lamb, born July 20, 1930, to Albert and Estal Lamb, passed away on November 14, 2010. Irving lived in the Ute Pass area from 1963 to 1977. He then lived in Derry, NH, from 1977 to 2005 when he retired to Spring Hill, FL, returning to Colorado this past summer.
Irving enjoyed a full life and a long career. He served in the Air Force from 1949 to 1954. In 1960, he started Lamb Plumbing and Heating. He then worked for the V.A. Medical Center in Manchester, NH, as Operations Foreman in 1975 until his retirement in 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Celeste Mathieu Lamb; sons Mark (Deborah) and Jay (Sandra); daughters Amy (Charlie) Turner and Lisa (Steve) Feldhacker; eight grandchildren, Erin, Travis, Brian, Dan, James, Joel, Devin, and Thomas; great granddaughter, Sydney Rose; three stepchildren, Denise (Mark) Chagnon Lynch, Lisa (Norman) Chagnon Giroux, and Steve (Nancy) Chagnon; and step-grandchildren, Shawn, Caitlin, J.P., Carina, and Lucine.
Services will be held Friday, November 19, 2010, 12:00 p.m. at the Cascade Fire House. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irving’s memory to the Cascade Volunteer Fire Department, Box 366, Cascade, CO 80809.
