Harry was born on October 1, 1920 in Kansas City, Missouri to Harry C. and Olive C. (Bullock) Woodcock. Harry is a veteran of World War II serving from June 1942 to December 1945. He married Elda Margaret (Fultz) Woodcock on September 21, 1946. They were married sixty two years before Elda’s death on October 30, 2008. He is survived by a son Harry W. “Bill” Woodcock, Jr., of Centennial, Colorado, stepson John E. O’Malley of Lubbock, Texas, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and stepsons George T. O’Malley and John Paul O’Malley.
Harry was President of Woodcock Stockbridge Brokerage Company in Jacksonville, Florida. He sold the company in 1976 and moved to Colorado Springs in 1978. He also was employed by NEH Corporation on Irving, Texas and finally retired in 2003 from Sears Store in Southgate. Harry was a member of First Christian Church, VFW Post 4051 and Falcon Wanderers.
