Floralee (Flo) Kathryn McKiernan, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 14th, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 23, 1944 in Glendive, MT to Gertrude and Landry Williamson.
Flo's faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her every step with unwavering devotion and grace. As a woman of faith, she embodied the virtues of love, compassion, and humility, radiating the light of God's love to all who crossed her path. Her steadfast commitment to her beliefs was evident in every aspect of her life, from her relationships with family and friends to her service to her community.
A devoted mother, Flo poured her heart and soul into nurturing her children, Mike (Irma), Timothy (Brenda), Stacy (Jim), Pat, Kelli (J’on) and instilling in them the values of love, integrity, and resilience. She was their guiding light, their source of strength, and their greatest champion.
Flo's husband of 62 years, Daniel McKiernan, was not only her spouse but her best friend, sharing a bond that transcended time. Together, they navigated life's joys and challenges, supporting each other with unwavering love and devotion.
In addition to her role as a mother, Flo was a cherished friend, always ready with a listening ear, a comforting hug, or a word of encouragement. Her capacity for empathy and understanding touched the lives of countless others, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Flo leaves behind many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life and the joy of her heart. She treasured every moment spent with them, leaving behind memories that will be cherished for generations to come.
Flo now joins the angels above, her spirit soaring among the heavens, where she will continue to watch over her loved ones with grace and love. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her love will continue to inspire and guide us every day.
A Rosary for the Dead will be held on Wednesday, April 24th at 3:30 pm at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2318 N. Cascade Avenue. A celebration of Flo’s life will be held on Thursday, April 25th at 12:00 pm at Envoy Church, 2025 N. Murray Blvd. If you are unable to attend the service in person, it can be viewed live at https://envoy.online.church. A reception will follow.
May Flo rest in eternal peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
