Edna Ruth was born on March 23, 1927, to Edward and Emma (Doven) Weaver. Edna Ruth married the love of her life Charles Walter Eaton on July 21, 1948 in Colorado Springs. The pair shared a passion for racing horses, traveling and square dancing. Upon retirement from Interstate Gas Credit Union, Edna Ruth continued to live life to the fullest. She was active in the local Black Forest AARP Chapter, Square-Dance Clubs and enjoyed volunteering at Wolford Elementary School.
She is preceded in death by her husband (Chuck) her mother (Emma), her sister (Mary Ellen) and her brother (Maurice). Edna Ruth is survived by her Son Alan (Margy), three grandchildren Jamee, Jason (Kevin), Rachel (Jason), and four great-grandchildren: Kaile, Jett, Dominick and Roman.
Memorial service to be held at the Black Forest Community Church, 6845 Shoup Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80908, Saturday September 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. Following the service the family asks that you join them for refreshments celebrating Edna Ruth’s life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Black Forest Community Church.
