Doug graduated from Mascoutah High School in Mascoutah, IL and went on to join the United States Air Force in 1995 and served until honorably discharged in 2004. Doug married Carmin (Cole) Humphries on March 4th, 1995 at Scott Air Force Base, IL. Doug was known for his passion for music, traveling, and working with his hands. He enjoyed spending time with his pets, friends, and most of all his family.
He was preceded in death by his father Wilbert Humphries, his mother Cecelia Jarrett, and his niece Avery Ann Humphries. He is survived by his wife Carmin Humphries of Colorado Springs, CO, a daughter Ryin (Cody) Sedlak of Colorado Springs, CO, a son Jarrid Humphries of Durango, CO, a grandson Easton Sedlak, a brother Mike Humphries of Mascoutah, IL, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews along with many other dear family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Best Friends Animal Society in memory of Doug Humphries.
