Donna Kay Ribisi

Donna Kay Ribisi was born on February 27, 1966 in Gardner, Kansas to Judy and Shelby Moore. She married the love of her life, Bob Ribisi on May 28, 1995. She was an incredible mother to her sons Rob and Chad. Donna received her masters degree in early childhood education from The University of Colorado and spent over thirty years serving children in the Colorado Springs community and excelled in her career as a special education preschool teacher. Donna was a devoted mother, daughter, and sister and enjoyed the Colorado outdoors through camping, paddleboarding, golfing, and going on long walks with her two dogs. She was so compassionate and outgoing, that she made any acquaintance feel like a friend and any friend feel like family. Donna was involved in a tragic accident on February 27, 2021 and passed away on March 1, 2021. She gave the gift of life through organ donation to four transplant recipients and helped over seventy others through tissue donation. She was preceded in death by Robert Ribisi (Husband), Rob Nichols (Son). She is survived by Chad Ribisi (Kayla) (Son), Tim Moore (Brother), Judy Moore (Mother), Shelby Moore (Father).

Visitation will be held on March 14, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Funeral Services will be held on March 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Graveside Service will be held directly following the funeral service on March 15, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Donna Ribisi Preschool Fund by mailing a check or cashier’s check to: Academy District 20 Preschool 1110 Chapel Hills Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80920 Attn: Robin.
