Colleen, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2021 at the age of 54.
Colleen was born in Pueblo, Colorado to parents Jean Ann Reisner and David Hansford. She is survived by her husband Gary, mother Jean Ann, father David, daughters Ashley, Amanda, and Laura, siblings Beth (Joe) and Mike (Becky), and step children Matthew, Jay, Hannah, Katie, and Megan.
Colleen was raised in Colorado and spent most of her life here. She graduated from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She had a passion for jigsaw puzzles, knitting, and taking care of her dogs. She was an expert at trivia and would often win while playing solo against her entire family. She valued family and friends above anything else and was never happier than when she was spending time with them and making them laugh.
Those wishing to pay their respects may join the family for a celebration of life on October 27th at Swan Law Funeral Directors anytime between the hours of 11am and 2pm.
