Alice grew up in the Chicago area. She had a love and natural talent for music, with perfect pitch, and a desire to serve others. She graduated from Swedish Covenant Hospital Nursing School, in Chicago, as an RN and practiced nursing much of her adult life. On Dec 29, 1947 Alice married her childhood
sweetheart, Harry Johnson. They had three sons, Daniel, Ronald, and David. Alice used her musical talent as a church pianist and organist and continued to serve in those roles until this year.
Alice is survived by her husband, son (Ronald), eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Alice is known for her gracious and generous demeanor, her willingness to serve, her perseverance, and her love for God.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 12 at Mesa Hills Bible Church, 615 W Uintah St, Colorado Springs, 80905. Donations may be made in her memory to Mesa Hills Bible Church.
