She was born to Dorothy Green on September 10, 1966 in Colorado City Texas. She moved to Lubbock Texas in 1969. Loretta was a loving mother of 3 and was loved and adored by 19 wonderful grandchildren all of whom she would do anything in the world for. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Loretta leaves behind to cherish her memory and mourn her death her father John Berry Jackson of Colorado City, her 3 children Charles Green, Aaron Green, and Shatievia Green, the father of her children Charles Adam, her 4 sisters Joyce Smith, Georgia Darty, Debra Green all of Lubbock, and Penny Green of Dallas, as well as a host of nieces nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, as well as a special aunt Emma Edwards of Denver Colorado, as well as by many other loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Green, her brother James Green, 5 uncles J.D. McGuire, L.J. McGuire, Nollie McGuire, James McGuire, and Freddy McGuire, by 3 aunts Annie McGuire, Doris Pierson, and Georgia Howard, her grandma Geneva Mayes, and by 2 special friends Shirley Roddy and Pamela Dathard.
A celebration of Loretta’s life will be held on Saturday, November 26th at 2 pm in the Kiker Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Faye Ross Ridge officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell County Cemetery with pallbearers being Aaron Green, Charles Green, Zacorian Green, Richard Wilson, Fred Wilson, and Quincy Bowser. Honorary pallbearers will be Tracy Williams, Robert Green, Willie Mayes, John Jackson, Larry Mayes, and Kevin Green.
The family will be present to receive guests on Friday, November 25th from 6-8 pm in the Kiker Seale Funeral Home Chapel in Colorado City.
