Joseph William McCarthy

Beloved husband of Dorothy D. McCarthy (nee Jafolla) and predeceased Barbara Santi. Devoted father of Kathleen (Keith) Geurere, John (Tracy) McCarthy and Danielle (Jon) Hololbinko. Cherished step-father of Lora (Robert) Briggs, Mark (Karen) Green, William (Angela) Green, and Michael (Paula) Green. Loving grandfather of 5, step grandfather of 9 and step great grandfather of 2. Cherished brother of Sister Daniella and Ann Marie Horbelt.

Joe was born in Pittston, PA, graduated Kings College in 1959 with honors. He passed the CPA in 1962. He went to work for Arthur Young which became Ernst & Young. He achieved partner in in 1970. Joe was very active. He was on the board of West Jersey Health Systems from 1988 – 1991, Camden County Improvement Authority from 1993 – 2000, Tavistock Country Club for 12 years and was president for 2 of the years. Joe served on The Admiral Condominium Board in Jensen Beach, FL from 2004 – 2013. Joe was an avid golfer, winning the Governor’s Cup in 1994 with 2 holes in one. Joe also belong to the Romeo Club: Retired Old Men Eating Out. He will be greatly missed by many.
