The Phillies lost a loyal fan when Grant Womack left us September 12, 2018. We Will miss his big heart, big optimism, big faith, big generosity, big voice and big presence which colored our lives. He moved with his parents and little sister, Jeri, to Levittown in 1953. He graduated Pennsbury High School in 1962, attended Lehigh University and worked as a Systems Analyst until his retirement in 1997. He resided in Mount Ephraim, New Jersey. Grant loved to turn strangers into friends and found a place in his heart for every child he met. When not cheering on the Phillies or the Eagles from his perch on the elliptical machine at Virtua Center for Fitness, he was cheering on Alex, Jordan and Brandon at their favorite sports (SO PROUD), or out fishing-waiting for the next big one.
Grant went to join his parents Grant and Harriet Womack, his beloved son, Grant Scott Womack and the love of his life, Donna Marie Womack. Left behind are his children William Curtis Womack (Donna), Leanne Everson (Ben), and David Wenstrom (Laura); his grandchildren, and light of his life: Bryan Rocco, Tony Rocco (Claire), Alexandra, Jordan, and Brandon Everson, great grandchildren; Travis, Nolan and Lilith Rocco. Grant is also survived by his sisters, Jerilyn Balent (Ken), Debra Sweigard (Fred), three nephews, three nieces, and 10 great nieces and nephews. Grant aka Bud, aka Grandpop, aka G-Pop, aka Uncle Santa Claus, aka Uncle Bud, aka Boke Boke Buddy, you will be missed.
