Charles Frank Zambito

Charles, ‘Chuck’ Zambito, 85, of Woodbury, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born in Batavia, NY, to the late Frank and Josephine Zambito on December 18th, 1938. He graduated from Elba Central School and went on to serve his country in the Army and proudly graduated from Cornell University.

Early in his career, while working in the Philadelphia area, Chuck met the love of his life, Bobbie. They settled in South Jersey and raised their children there.

Chuck spent over 50 years building and maintaining a successful produce brokerage company, Zambito Produce Sales. He made many great friends along the way and his presence will be greatly missed in the community.

Despite his professional accomplishments, his greatest legacy is his family, particularly his beloved grandchildren. Chuck found the most joy spending time with those closest to him. He loved vacations, spending time at the Jersey shore, visiting his 5 siblings and family dinners. He could always be found on somebody’s couch cheering on his Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and Sixers. He was the proudest grandfather at Cara’s performances, Matthew’s games, Ceci’s meets and Charlie’s matches.

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Christine Everlof (Jim); son Frank (Dana); daughter Nicole Mancini (Nick), his four grandchildren; Charlie, Cecilia, Matthew and Cara, his brothers; John, Frank and Dick Zambito and his sisters; Pauline and Roz, their spouses and his many dear nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Bobbie.

Family and friends are invited to attend services on Tuesday November 12th at St. Joseph the Worker church in Haddon Twp. NJ.

Visitation will be held from 9am-11am. Funeral mass will be held at 11am and burial immediately following at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
