Risë Russell Kirby, 68, passed away March 25, 2023 at her home. She enjoyed watching University of Tennessee Football and NASCAR, was an avid reader and also loved to fish. Risë was wicked smart, had a dark sense of humor and was hilariously funny. She loved animals especially dogs and cats and promoted animal rescues.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Lucille Russell and a nephew, Andy Pate.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Chris Kirby, sister, Renée Pate; sister-in-law, Marcia Dorrough; niece, Jennifer Pate; nephew, Michael Pate; great-niece, Andresa Pate; sister-in-law, Connie Harris (Louis), and brother-in-law, Mark Kirby.
A memorial service will be held Friday March 31, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 W Poplar Avenue, Collierville, Tennessee 38017.
In lieu of flowers gifts in memory of Mrs. Kirby may be offered to the Humane Society or the animal rescue of your choice.
