Mr. Wilfredo Delfin Bernabe

Wilfredo Delfin Bernabe, age 74, formerly from San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. He was born on October 6, 1947 to Jesus Martin Bernabe, Sr. and Phoebe Celestino Delfin.

After graduation from high school at Nueva Ecija North High School, he spent one year as an exchange student in Lindenhurst High School in New York. He graduated from the University of the Philippines in 1971 and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. Wil was a member of the Upsilon Sigma Phi. He migrated to the USA with his family in 1973 and settled in California. He worked in the banking industry. He joined American Airlines as Sales and Service Representative in 1999 and retired in 2012.

Wil was an avid 49ers fan, has a passion for books and enjoyed watching sports and politics. He also enjoyed traveling.

He is predeceased by his parents and sister, Gloria Tolentino. He is survived by his wife, ReginaFrances Van Wyk Bernabe and daughter, JoanMarie; ex-wife, Myrna Callao Bernabe; son, Marvin and his son Mathew; daughter, Mayumi and her husband Michael and their sons MJ and Myles ; son, Michael and his wife Michelle and their daughters Maylea, Maddison, and Makaila; brother-in-law, Gerardo; siblings, Olivia, Eleanor and husband Raymundo, Jesus, Jr. and wife Judy; nieces and nephews, Ana, Paolo, Carlo, Maria Isabel, Jeremy, Raymond, Elizabeth and Victoria.

Visitation and prayer service will be held at 10:00 am-1:00 pm on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park on 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034.
