Reba Maxine Perry passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Ashwood Court Assisted Living in North Richland Hills, Texas at the age of 93. She was born on January, 21, 1930 in Keller, Texas to Causen and May Anderson.
Reba had a very memorable childhood growing up on the family farm during the Great Depression in Keller, Texas. She graduated from Keller High School in 1947. After high school she went to work for Montgomery Wards in Fort Worth. In 1975 she began work at Bell Helicopter as a typist where she met her kind and loving husband, Benny. Reba and Benny married on May 24, 1980. They shared a passion for traveling and went on many trips in their travel trailer alongside her sister, Gladys, and Gladys’ husband, James, with their most favorite destination being Alaska.
She enjoyed being with family and reminiscing. Her grandchildren always looked forward to the wonderful Christmas and Thanksgiving spread, especially her famous fruit salad! She loved to paint and make ceramics with her sister, Gladys. Those two were inseparable. Reba was strong in her faith and was a very kind soul who was loved by all!
Reba was preceded in death by her parents, Causen and May Anderson; brothers and sister and their spouses: Aubrey(Frances), Pat(Norma), Rudy(Jody), Gladys(James) and Leroy; Sons, Chris and Loyd; Husband, Benny Perry, sisters-in-law Sheila and D’Alice, brothers-in-law R.B. and Lewis, stepson Marvin and faithful dog, Sheba Lee.
Reba is survived by her son, Terry Olsen; grandchildren and their spouses: Adam(Jenn), Russell(Katie), Crissy(Clint), Ashley Olsen, TJ and Presley; daughter-in-law, Beth; step daughter, Sheila and husband Jim; step nephew, Louis; step niece, Sharon; 10 great-grandchildren and many more other loving relatives.
A memorial service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas 76034 at 10am, Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Burial to follow at Bluebonnet Hills. A visitation will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm, Monday, October 2, 2023.
