Max was born on August 19, 1951 and was the youngest of two sons to the late Faye and J.C. Richardson. Following Max’s graduation from high school, he moved to Colorado Springs, CO to attend the United States Air Force Academy. Max went on to earn his degree in finance from East Texas A&M and soon thereafter his Texas CPA credentials. He was a highly respected Certified Public Accountant in the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex for over 30 years.
As an avid family man, Max reflected his love of the Lord through his care and devotion to his community and household. His commitment to his wife, Melinda, and his three children, Alycia, Kyle, and Ethan, was exceptional. Max never missed a chance to coach little league, take his family camping, or to share a coffee with a loved one on his porch swing. He loved to share new experiences and places with his family.
In addition to being a loving husband and father, Max earned a reputation for being a respected member of the business community. He not only owned and operated M. Richardson & Company LLC for over a decade, but also held positions at other prestigious institutions, including Bank One and Bell Helicopter, for several years. In fact, many of Max’s clients and colleagues became lifelong friends.
In 2016, following the unexpected loss of his wife Melinda, he set his sights on moving forward on his own. Max connected with his cherished wife, Pamela, through the mutual grief they shared over losing a significant other. They had exciting plans for their new ranch in Huntsville, TX. Pamela selflessly cared for her husband throughout his final days.
Max is preceded in death by his wife, Melinda Richardson of Grapevine, TX; his mother and father, Agnes Faye and Jasper Charles Richardson of Mount Pleasant, TX; his sister-in-law, Nanette Dersch Seacrist of Peoria, IL; and many other beloved family members. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Richardson of Huntsville, TX; his brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Carole Richardson of Houston, TX; his children, daughter, Alycia DeBok and husband, Charles of Ft. Worth, TX; son, Kyle Richardson and wife, Kristen of Grapevine, TX, son, Ethan Richardson and wife, Anna of Dallas, TX; and three precious grandchildren, Makayla (5), Madden (4), and Dylan (2).
A memorial service to celebrate and remember this life well-lived will take place at Compass Center located at 4201 Pool Rd. in Grapevine, Texas on Friday, November 18th at 3:00pm. A reception will follow.
